The Art of Swarovski
Review by Karen Vander on August 30th, 2008
Every woman deserves something chic, elegant, and posh and so far Swarovski fits that description. The company since its humble beginning in 1949 has dedicated its years of fine crystal craftsmanship and genuine jewelry and crystalline collectibles to customers worldwide. Swarovski specializes in jewelry, accessories, stylish home décor and gifts perfect for weddings, which is the main focus of RedHotBrides.com and their stylish feminine audience. Visiting the company website, I sit and stare at the lines of adorable pendants, brooches, and figurines that truly speak of an original style that has made Swarovski so successful. They definitely deserve a spot in RedHotBrides.com’s links section.
What I love so much about Swarovski accessories is the uniqueness in the cutting design of the crystals. Their designs don’t stick to mere ovals, hearts, and circles. They go beyond simple shapes to actual objects like flowers, animals, and even birthday cakes, which brings out the creativity in their craft. Instead of gold, diamonds, and other stones, Swarovski crystals are what make this company one of the leading pioneers in the industry. Just by browsing through their company website, you can already tell just how sophisticated and high-class their aura is, though this will make customers with a humble income hesitate from going any further. It would take a really important and life-changing event for me to consider ordering Swarovski jewelry online.
Swarovski prides itself in its vast selection of jewelry, home décor, and ideal wedding presents, but are priced in Euros which make it quite expensive for customers outside of the continent. There seems to be barely any information on company policies and shipping instructions as well, but in the end the company makes up for it by providing its customers quality customer service and easy and fair return policies online. Orders and shipping are available for countries even outside of Europe and North America, putting up sections that can cater to customers in other neighboring countries who want to order Swarovski items as well. They even provide aspiring business owners a chance to be a partner of the world’s leading crystal-cutting corporation, which I believe is a big plus on their part since they’re one of the few who take the time to encourage people to grab the career opportunities available under Swarovski.
Going into the technical portion, the website offers its customers all the necessary links to go to when making a purchase online. There are updates on their new collection, a list of Swarovski retail stores, and a shopping list where you can tick all the items you want and place them in for purchase. Overall, this is by far the ultimate high-class online shopping mall to go to. If I am able to afford those beautifully crafted butterfly figurines, I’d put them in a Swiss bank for lifetime safekeeping and give them as heirlooms to my great-grandchildren. The colors are so brilliant and the designs are stylish that it’s hard not to notice someone wearing Swarovski jewelry. Though website needs to be a little more informative, it speaks poetically of the company’s vision mission. So if you’re looking for the perfect wedding ring or a beautiful engagement ring to propose with, this is the place to go to.
My rating of them: 9.0/10
