What the groom is wearing is an important key to a perfect wedding. Yes I agree all eyes will be on the bride (lol!) but the groom should be able to hold his own spotlight as well! As he is one of the main characters in this illustrious event, my fiance’s attire will leave an everlasting impression upon both our family and friends. We’ve decided that for our wedding, he’ll be donning separate sets of outfits for various key events in the wedding.
Firstly, the traditional “changsan” outfit that I’ve mentioned earlier is the outfit that he’ll be wearing for our tea ceremony (thanks to my being part Chinese, mom insisted we have a tea ceremony) to emphasize the diversity of cultures in my background. Can’t wait to see him clad in a black silk “changsan” with golden dragon embroidery. While it may sound a tab bit tacky but it really isn’t in real life! I’ve seen the design and personally gave my thumbs up. The seamstress is a gem, I tell you. She made matching “changsan” outfits for the rest of his best men and it fit them to a T! They looked so very handsome together but no prizes for guessing who I’m choosing as my future husband
For the marching-in garden ceremony, he’ll be wearing his tuxedo ala Men In Black with a black bow tie. I must say he looks really cute wearing a formal suit. I can’t help but gush about this occasionally and this annoys him no end although I think he is secretly pleased as punch to hear me sing praises!
Finally a white tuxedo with a grey bow tie would be just nice for the banquet. In low light areas like the ballroom, when the groom wears attire with lighter color, it will make him look outstanding in photographs and video clips.
