Pimp your ride in red style to cruise to your wedding

When planning for your big day, have you forgotten how you will be getting to your wedding? I bet you have designated your dear fiancé for this task of finding the ride. Its a natural tendency for a guy wanting to take the lead in choosing the ride. Many guys just love cars. You may want to remind your dearest that you want to ride it in style! Traditionally the color for a limo has always been either black or white. As a modern bride, you may think “how boring!”

There are some exotic vehicles that you can pick for your wedding such as a fancy stretched hummer to a Lexus to a Mercedes limo. While these other exotic styles are much different then your typical Lincoln stretch limo, they are starting to become common. Lincoln Stretch Limousines are luxurious but very common among weddings. What would really make you stand out and have a positive shock to your wedding day is a colored limousine or ride!

Why should you not choose the styles and colors for your ride like you choose the dresses for your bridesmaids? Your ride will be in your photos and videos and have as much effect to setting the expectations and be a part of the color theme you have chosen for your wedding. Remember, when you have hired a videographer, they always create that footage of your arriving to the destination in slow motion and you slowly getting out of it. This moment can set the mood or heavily influence right at the start of your day.

Though I must admit, looking for colored limo rides like the one showing here is not easy. One option to consider is using your own car or borrowing a nice family car for your wedding. Some couples may even choose to chauffeur themselves to the wedding rather then hiring a driver to be pampered. Admit it—driving can just be PLEASURABLE! If you love the feel of the road beneath your feet, you may wish to drive your wedding car yourself. Some couples who rent wedding rides love the thrill of driving themselves to the events of the wedding day. Rides such as this slick Volkswagen MK3 VR6 GTI that many young modern couple makes a hot ride and cruising it in style.

If you can’t afford to buy that luxurious Lexus, or the headaches involved with the maintenance owning a classic convertible, renting one to drive as your wedding car can be a well-appointed indulgence that you’ll never forget. Pick out the styles and color and ride it red hot to your wedding. On your special day you deserve it to stand above the crowd and your ride is an unforgettable part of your special event.

Red settings for your beautiful wedding

Pretty autumn leaves

It is winter now where I am. A bride in red hot while burning inside with her confidence, she must remember to keep warm. The ground is covered with snow, like it is in many part of the country. Sometimes we do not notice the grand simple beauty, which the nature gives us. Though autumn is over, I like to remind future brides planning ahead for their wedding in Fall 2008 of how beautiful a fall wedding is. Brides having their wedding in February or simply during winter have other ways to decorate their wedding with a red theme wedding without nature’s doing.

Whether you will be eloping to Las Vegas or have been planning this wedding for the last two years, Valentine is coming up and it is the perfect day for a wedding. Valentine’s Day is a very popular day and many couples get married on the spur of the moment. Love is in the air. January is a month in between Christmas and Valentine’s. Christmas decorations are still up. The Valentine’s theme can be incorporated into your wedding day and not neccesarily have it precisely on Valentine’s day.

Use the holiday’s colors to include in your winter wedding. Red still is all around during this time of the year. Consider colors such as ruby, deep red, lavender or light blue. From holiday decorations to snowflake invitations, your wedding day can have a fantasy feel to it.

Dear Wedding Goddess:

I am worried about marriage and making it last. I am afraid to admit this to anyone. What advice can you share about keeping our love alive after our wedding? - Janey

Dear Janey -

It is wonderful that this is on your mind!

It’s essential you think about nurturing your love and growing your relationship while planning your wedding.

Your marriage will hopefully be a long and fruitful journey. To keep it fresh and keep it vibrant, look for ways to continually renew your commitment and to acknowledge the sacred promises you made. Over time, your marriage will need a tune up here and there, where you must make sure you are both still aligned with your vows; in addition, your vows themselves may need some enhancement. As time goes on, you will both change and grow and your married life will evolve.

1. Sweetly Keeping Your Promises Alive. You will be pretty high on love and life after you wedding – that’s why they call it the honeymoon period! –yet remembering the promises made at the altar can help you both maintain the energy of your very special day, every day. Take your vows with you on your honeymoon and every night, before you go to bed, take some time to look deeply into each others eyes and repeat them to one another.

2. Surround yourself with reminders of your sacred day. Get some beautiful paper, print your vows out and frame them. Keep them in your boudoir, next to your favorite wedding photo, and any other mementos from your wedding that fill your senses with happy memories.

3. Expand your vows. The vows you speak at your wedding may be on the short side, or tend to be romantic. There may have been some things you felt were too personal, or too practical to add in. And once you have a little experience with marriage under your belt, you may find there are additional sentiments you would like to add to your vows. These are very personal statements the two of you can come up with together. You can add them to your existing vows and repeat them to each other, and frame them, or just keep them in a sacred place – such a holy book or even in a frame behind your wedding photo, symbolically making them the foundation beneath your marriage. Over time, you can add in anything that you desire as you learn more about what you both hold dear in married life.

4. Regularly recommit to your marriage. Remember, you can celebrate and recommit to your marriage at any time. Your legal marriage is a one time deal, yet there is no law that says you cannot renew your commitment at any stage. Consider a recommitment ceremony every few years. Every time you experience a ritual that declares your love, it’s like giving your love, your life and your marriage a new infusion of energy or, even, a fresh start.

Tips for choosing your red wedding dress:

1. Set a realistic budget.
2. Allow yourself a lot of time to find and order your dress. Depending on whether you are ordering a designer brand, off the shelf discount rack, or online, ordering a dress may take from a week to fours month long.
3. Keep an open mind. Red hot brides are naturally open minded already but keep your eyes open for other choices of wedding colors and style too and not be blinded completely you want to look red hot!
4. Remember to bring the shoes and bra you will be wearing with the gown. Leave nothing to chance of how it looks.
5. Have someone take a picture of how you look in your dress from the behind. Your guests will see you from behind a lot of the time and you want to show your best behind. Know what the dress looks like from every angle.

6. Be practical and remember you will be everywhere during your wedding. A huge train will have an amazing effect but may not be so great in an outdoor ceremony on a rainy day!
7. Experiment with different veils with the dress to get an idea of the complete look. A long veil may turn a dress from ordinary to amazing, while a long veil might not work at all. Mix and match different color effects with veils to see which works best with your red hot dress.
8. Be realistic with your weight and size. If you plan to lose weight, factor that into it and remember be real! Millions make promises of losing weight every day and rarely does one suceed. Your fairytale wedding day is not a day to chance on.
9. Use wedding magazines and Internet for inspiration and ideas on styles.
10. Have a general idea of the kind of dress you like: traditional, straight, empire line, princess line, mermaid, sheath, slipdress, ballgown line, or A-line. Not every body types work with the style of dress you like.
11. Eat first before going shopping for your wedding dress.

Have you decided on the color of your red hot evening gown?

Wedding dresses now are saturated with many color options. Can’t decide between an empire gown and a sexy mermaid style dress? Why not wear both? Wear one at the ceremony and shock everyone with a second one at your reception. Pleasantly surprise your guests. For the brides that dare to be different, choose a color wedding dress! Hot colors for brides have been used in Eastern culture marriage traditions for many centuries including red, the color of the imperial wedding gown worn in China and Japan. In Western Culture, the 2008 hot colors are paired with other pastel colors such pink, cream and yellow.

The 5Cs of a red wedding dress

Would you like to be happy? Of course you would, you are human. Would you like look to look beautiful and not like another bride? Of course you would, you may like mainstream stuff but certainly not become a mindless lemming. Imagine and fantasize what you would look like in your red wedding dress. If you are like the many brides that are having difficulties choosing to wear a red wedding dress because someone in your family is against the idea, this is your day after all. Unless you have something against red yourself, do not let others get you down. Get married in a beautiful wedding dress of your color choice.

Shopping for a wedding dress is not much different from shopping for a diamond ring. Like a diamond ring, you would not want to wear a used item. Though the discounts and savings might be substantial on a used one, there’s just a negative aroma about wearing a failed love or just another item a woman has worn on what is supposed to be the best day of your life. Like a diamond ring, a wedding dress has a lot of meaning and it is going to be kept for years to come. In the diamond bling bling industry, they came up with the 4Cs to help shop for a diamond. I decided to come up with the 5Cs of why one should buy a red wedding dress.

The 5Cs of a red hot dress.

the Calling - The red dress is screaming at you to wear it. Obey it. A red wedding dress is exciting and desirable. It is also a classy, fashionable, beautiful, timeless, or sexy dress. There are all types of styles to accomodate a person’s style. Whether you go for a couture style or a generic designer, you will still be a red hot bride and stand out from the millions of another white bride.

the Change - Think outside the box. Your smile will be brighter. Your glow will be brighter. Your day will be brighter. You will not be just another bride.

the Canvas - The bride is like a beautiful canvas ready to be decorated and admired at. A white wedding dress would not do it justice.

the Control - Red brides are in control. Brides are making the majority of the decisions of the wedding planning. Red shows power and decisiveness.

the Creativity - The generation of new ideas or concepts. Married in red, stand out from the rest.

Striped red weding dress design - look slimmer on your wedding day

Sapphire Style 1051

This is a unique looking red wedding dress. Its the first where I see a wedding dress with red stripes. It gives it a nice classical timeless look to it. The vertical stripes are going to make the bride look a lot slimmer. Her torso will look longer and waist really slim. This can dramatically affect your appearance. This vertical line effect draws the eye up and down, which creates the illusion of thinness. Your body will appear longer and leaner. I had a diffult time to trying to find red wedding dresses with vertical stripes to show to everyone. It did not take me too long to locate this designer, Tomy Mariage, which had a sleuth of red wedding dress designs.

Tomy Mariage Bridal Collection:

Some quick tips to look slim in your red hot wedding gown:
Thinner fabrics look more slimming
Tops and bottoms of one color will make you look slimmer
Avoid belts unless you have a slim waist
Choose proper accessories
High collars tend to make your neck look shorter
